I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BAT
Very fun process, interviewers were nice and down to earth, friendly vibes. Had a group task which focuses on critical thinking, they give you a text and you are tasked to solve a problem or problems through team discussion
- How would you market product X in this current financial environment?

1. Phone interview with recruiter 2. in-depth interview with managers (1 hour) 3. Virtual half-day session, split between group presentation and individual case studies. The first part was a group presentation; we were given a brief and had to work together to present a final recommendation. This was all about teamwork and how you work with others to accomplish a task under pressure. Next were a couple of individual case studies, where we had time to prepare with the background information given and present our recommendations once again. 4. Phone call on the final status of the interview process.

The interview was very leadership competency based with plenty of scenarios. There was also an analytical section to demonstrate your excel abilities. Overall the interview takes place over 2 sections. First with the recruiter then followed by the reporting line.
- Tell me about a difficult situation you had to handle and what was the result.

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at BAT
Was invited for the interview after BAT reached out to me on social media, but it was never scheduled. BAT never learns. I followed up with the HR responsible, but no response from the HR either over email or on social media. Extremely unhappy with the way they conduct business here.
- The interview NEVER HAPPENED on the date and time I selected from the options they provided. Simply waste of time

There is not much to reveal and say. Everything is good and well. The interviewer is polite and well-care. The question asked is challenging and able to answer it well.

I applied online. I interviewed at BAT (Copenhagen, Capital Region)
In the hiring manager interview, they were late for 10 mins resulting in the interview was only 20 mins. And there was no feedback, and no answers for 3 weeks after the interview even though I sent an email to HR asking for the follow-ups. Literally just ghosted interviewees, feeling really not professional.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at BAT (London, England) in Oct 2023
I applied online I was contact via the recruiter based in Romania. I had a 30 minute teams video call with the Recruiter in Romania, she was a lovely lady, had passion, her English was ok. Second Round interview with an EA and HR people in London. 30 minutes teams meeting.
- The Recruiter kept on asking if you are prepared to very flexible, not clock watch and effectively worked a lot of overtime without pay or time in lieu. The EA in London asked very long convoluted questions which were very unclear and she clearly describing her own experiences. For a 30 minute interview we could not cover what we need to cover given the lack of preparation of professional interview questions from BAT side.
