I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bain & Company in June 2011
Interview

Case studies are usually of two types - estimation cases and business cases. There is an analytical bent to the questions even at a senior level interview which is not unexpected given Bain's penchant for data driven results

Multiple rounds with Senior managers, associate partners and Partners, Focused on fit and case equally, however case is table stakes to go through to the next stages. Overall lovely people
I applied online. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Copenhagen, Capital Region)
Interview
First round 2 x case interviews and 1 x behavioural interview, second round 2 x partner interviews (mix of behavioural and case). Case interviews test commercial acumen, ability to structure the problem, overall attitude towards the case, and ability to draw insights from data (including maths) - focus on practicing %s and typical business calculations (e.g. profit margin)

3 rounds of interviews - 2 each. Pretty straightforward if you come prepared. Interview style has changed over the last years to be more interviewer led. Need to be comfortable with Bain published reports to show high motivation
