I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at CVS Health in Mar 2023
Interview
Process took 1 month, it was very competitive. I had 2 rounds of technical interviews and 1 round of HR. Very knowledgeable people who interviewed me. During the H1B transfer process their legal team works so quickly and timely to complete the hiring process.

Question 1
Tell me about a scenario in your recent job where you helped with automation.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at CVS Health (Hartford, CT) in Feb 2022
Interview
Initial interview with recruiter, asking for salary range, and basic questions about Cloud experience as this was for the COE department.
Second Interview was with the hiring manager. Explained to me that he couldn't even come up with a job description for the role as its changed so much. Claimed he didn't actually need a developer, he wanted a right hand person who could run demos, do lunch and learns, work with people to want to transition to the cloud. Asked about projects and what I've done.
Third interview happened 2 weeks after the 2nd interview. Hiring manager invited his coworker to the interview and explained to me the role now changed. Had his coworker explain to me what her group did, which was mapping applications to the cloud.
This went from not being technical at all to being a developer, which I was ok with.
Was offered the job, which they low balled me on. 10k less than what the recruiter stated to me in the initial interview.
I "countered" back to the original number, and said would accept if that could happen. I did not hear back from the recruiter or hiring manager for a week.
I contacted the recruiter back for a update, he stated that the hiring maanger was trying to get approval for the salary that was stated to me, but was also going back and interviewing again.
Another 2 weeks go by, no update from anybody. I emailed stating at no point would I accept the role as this was one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had.
Hiring manager was late to the first interview, low balled me, did not ever reach out to me to explain anything. I asked about flexibility for work hours as it was remote, recruiter said 7-3, 8-4, or 9-5, hiring manager said 9-5 only. Then no contact at all from anybody on any status updates.
Literally, anything that could go wrong went wrong, but I am happy to decline the offer as this is not how a business should operate.
