Mostly behavioral interviewing questions but also 2 different interviewers asked me quantitative case study questions about credit card economics. I was prepped by the HR recruiter in advance so I knew who would be asking the questions, including a woman with 3 degrees in math! I watched Capital One case study interview videos to help me prepare. I did pretty well with the first interviewer with the math degrees and was feeling pretty good about myself, and then I realized the next case study would probably be harder. I was given a lot more data, and it took me too long to figure it out, and I felt I was going back to the interviewer to make sure I had the data right. I didn't get the job and I was told it was because I messed up that case study. Looking back I had the epiphany that I should have used a break even analysis. The HR recruiter advised me the answers usually involved break even, but for some reason when I looked at the data it wasn't readily apparent to me at the time.
