The HR recruiter reached out initially via email to schedule a time to do a phone conversation to verify qualifications for the position. After the HR call, if you meet the qualifications for the next stage, you get scheduled for a Zoom meeting with the hiring manager. If you make it past that stage, they will set you up to do what they call a "Power Day" which is three more Zoom interviews with other managers in the department. If you're lucky, all three of these interviews will take place in a single day. The recruiter mentioned these interviews would all take place in a 3hr window but their interview logistics team actually turned mine into a 9hr day of having to wait and do nothing else but these interviews. If you are currently employed and looking to switch companies, which I was, you literally have to schedule an entire day off for this "Power Day" which is a bit much. To be honest, the whole interview process was a bit much. If a company requires more than one manager, two max, to determine if someone is the right fit for a position, then that is a red flag of potential micromanaging or the company has a lack of faith in their hiring managers to choose the correct people for the positions. Also, the process taking over two months from submitting the application until receiving the email saying they went with another candidate was outlandish.
