Applied for the role online. was contacted a week or two after submitting my application for a phone interview with human resources. spoke to HR and it appeared as if i was a perfect match for the role. then was scheduled for a phone interview with the hiring manager, a director of finance. that went very well. i was then told that HR was contact me to schedule a round of in person interviews. went in phone the in person round and meet with 3 other directors who were not in finance. they were acomodating an set the interviews after my work was over at my job. the 3 interviewers plus the hiring manager then asked if i had time to meet with the president of the office. i spoke with him and was told that they would recommend for the final round at the glenview HQ office. a couple days later HR called me at my job (did not give her the number or the okay to do so) to schedule the final round. she stated she had called a few hours earlier on my cell so she called me at work. we scheduled the final round a week or so later. however I got a call from HR stating they were canceling the final round and not proceeding with my candidacy. only God knows why (but the hiring manager did disclose during the initial phone interview that her sister worked at the same company as me; although she told me she wouldn't discuss it with her sister perhaps her sister had something negative to say about me or the HR manager could've taken offense that i asked not to be called at my place of employment and stalled the process, or something else could've hailed the process) .... disappointed of course but resilient enough to move on
