I have been working at Combined Insurance full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The income potential is unlimited and the training is excellent. After graduating from sales school, my manager showed my the ropes and after a few weeks I was pretty much on my own.

It takes hard work, but it is well worth it They teach you everything you need to know to be successful- you just need to apply yourself and do it

I have already been on a few company trips- and they are awesome. So far I have been to Cancun, Montreal and Ireland- ALL on the company- I was able to bring my spouse as well

    Cons

It can take long hours in the beginning- still worth it

I have been working at Combined Insurance full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I came from Aflac, where no training was offered whatsoever, which was surprising to me since they are such a well known company. I was recruited from Combined and saw from Day 1 that this was no place like Aflac. I know all levels of Managers above me at Combined care about my continued success, and I know that ANY of them, even if their not MY manager, would still help me with anything I could ever need. Unlike Aflac, Combined has a very comprehensive training program and process that assure you have the skills necessary to be a great agent before you go out by yourself for the very first time. I’m very excited to see where Combined takes me over the years...

    Cons

Don’t waste your time or theirs (managers) if you don’t want to put the hard work in that’s necessary to make the big $. Otherwise, there’s no one to blame but yourself. YOU can be your own con, don’t let that happen

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what your doing!

I have been working at Combined Insurance full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours. Performance based pay. Advancement available. A lot of bad reviews on here are from people that definitely did not go to work everyday because I made over 6 figures in my very first year. Company cares about their agents and staff.

    Cons

None. Company is great. Wish I started earlier.

I have been working at Combined Insurance full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I left and came back. This was my first opportunity in the insurance field. I was so nervous and scared at first to be starting a new career. I learned the system fast. I worked all of the time. I worked extra hours to meet my goals. Insurance is a tough industry. I would never say it was the company's fault for someone failing to make a career out of a sales agent. I was offered a Sales Coordinator position many times. I didn't take it for personal reasons. You really need to understand the system they use. If you miss a close or do not use their system it won't work out as well. If you are determined to strive for knowledge and to work hard to grow yourself, then you will be great. Most people think they can get a job here and immediately have a book of business. You are wrong. You need to become known in your area, make friends, build relationships with people. There is no insurance career anywhere where money and business is thrown at you. I loved the bonuses in the beginning- 200 to 500 more every week. I made a killing! It really helped me grow. Plus the monthly now has a kicker for your business you keep. People put negative reviews here that don't even make sense. What did you last a month? Lol. Combined taught me so much and their structure has kept me and my 3 boys well fed, dressed, and taken care of. I am a single parent with 3 disabled kids. Tell me you can't work the system they use and not be successful, I'll tell you it takes time and effort.

    Cons

Long work days to build your book

    Advice to Management

If one of your managers is down, and you see their market failing, demote them. They bring down everyone.
