I worked at Combined Insurance full-time

    Pros

Combined Insurance Australia and management team was really an employer of choice, extremely supportive management team.

    Cons

It took around 6 months to feel really comfortable, however it does take time to develop specific skills required for this role.

I have been working at Combined Insurance full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Quality affordable products that are beneficial to people looking for extra coverages.

    Cons

Leadership on the market and district level are only concerned about their perceived performance. If their numbers are not up, they'll help you get you on the board. But if something happens to you outside of work, they do not show compassion or empathy. Also, be better about planning. Countless times I was hit with a last minute team meeting. If you had other engagements, you were "spoken to".

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Combined Insurance full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The pay and benefits are great. While the Covid-19 pandemic is happening they offer remote work.

    Cons

Not enough training. Not enough support when you need help. They audit everything. They expect you to provide quality service but wait it has to be done in under 7 min. Their expectation is unrealistic: they should really look at quality over quantity.

    Pros

Good opportunity for a sales agent, just have to be willing to get out and work for it.

    Cons

Pay scale is a little off, had experience with other companies who have the pay schedule laid out better

    Pros

You can make your own schedule

    Cons

They charge you for everything yet give you nothing like new leads. Total scam taking advantage of others looking to better themselves. Interviewers lied in the interview process and didn't give true details of what the job would be like.

I worked at Combined Insurance full-time

    Pros

A Chubb Company. Competitive policies except Life Insurance

    Cons

Disorganized, understaffed in support and claims. Claims take way too long to pay or dispute. No weekend or late hours in support or claims. Doesn't inform new hires that they have to produce $500 each week after training . If not salary stops. New leads only go to the top producers. Website for consumers is not compelling. High turnover. Too many meetings.
