I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Round Rock, TX) in Aug 2008
Interview
I interviewed over phone and then in person with like 4 peeps from the team. Received offer before I even made it home.
Offer was extremely generous as it was a C level position. They offered paid relocation which was a super bonus, sign on bonus and stock.
Overall it was a great experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Honestly, the questions were typical. I walked them through my experience and then focused on their needs...they were looking for more than just technical ability, but needed true customer focused soft skill. The ability to work with large diverse teams in a political environment is key here.
I applied online. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Austin, TX) in Sept 2021
Interview
Very detailed but conversational. Asked a lot of questions based on my resume. Interviewers are technically sound. The interview lasted about 4 hours and the last interviewer started with what was your experience with the first three interviewers before moving to technical questions and a few behavioral questions.

Tell me about a time you had to confront the status quo
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (London, England) in Jan 2018
Interview
Very slow. Casual approach. Took 6 weeks to get a telephone interview done. Then a face to face interview a week later. Mostly competency based questions but it was a waste of time. Hiring manager did not book a meeting room which meant we had to do interview in a nearby cafeteria which was distracting and bit unprofessional. Also didn’t feel that hiring manager was really attentive to candidate’s response but more focused on looking at the smartphone.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 10 months. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Milan) in June 2016
Interview
Preliminary talk with head of HR in Italy, then an interview with my manager.
another interview with the HR talent acquisition lead and then a final interview with sales management (panel).
