Very relaxed and to the point. Everyone was friendly and made you feel comfortable. They did not waste any time and looked more into your enthusiasm vs job requirements. Easier than I thought
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Deloitte
Interview
Two 30 minute interviews; one technical, one "soft" (personality/fit). It really depends on who you get; I give tougher tech interviews than what I got. I've seen candidates crash and burn on what should be basic Java questions. Pro tip: don't google for answers during a skype interview (yes, I've seen it happen).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain the difference between SOAP and RESTful web services.
3 interviews: HR screening, technical and leadership interview took one and half month, but it took another two months to hear the results.
It was odd, after the 3rd interview, HR said they would like to extend an offer, they will forward for management approval. I followed up regularly, after 'Thanksgiving', "Xmas", "New Year, by the mid of January, finally HR informed me the position is no longer needed due to work availability.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Dublin, Dublin) in May 2018
Interview
3-4 rounds, initial hr screening, one round of technical/behavioural/leadership, one round with final hiring manager and then feedback/offer. The process was a mix of your abilities and what you bring to the table as a professional. If there is a fit to current roles, you would get shortlisted.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Describe a project that you were part of... Ask technicals relevant to that. Couple of questions about coding tools and stacks that you are comfortable with. The interview proceeds as per the level of detail you provide.
