I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EY (Philadelphia, PA) in Oct 2013
Interview
Applied on my university's career website and got an on-campus interview with a manager. A week or so later I received an email telling me I got an offer to interview in the office. The night before I went to a pre-interview "dinner" that consisted of appetizers and got the opportunity to talk to other interviewees and first-year associates. The next day there was a breakfast and a presentation from the managing partner of the firm as well as the recruiter. Everyone was assigned a greeter and they showed us to our interviews. One was with a partner and the other was with a senior manager. Very conversational. After that they took us out to lunch as a large group and we went home.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked me to explain what happened with the one D on my transcript.
The process was relatively straightforward and moved quickly (total time was less than 2 weeks). It consisted of:
(1) Online application - submitting CV, cover letter etc. via the career portal
(2) Online assessment - takes about 1 hour, some quantitative questions, questions about behaviours etc.
(3) Phone call with recruiter
(4) In-person interview - less "formal", more conversational

Question 1
Tell me about yourself
*tip: be prepared with questions to ask the interviewer
Overall good experience. 2 rounds of interview. Got to know results in 1 day. Smooth process. Interview was scheduled online. Three interviewers were present. Covered technical questions and skills i know.
the application process is starting from looking in the LinkedIn. After that, they refer to the EY website. From this you can see the requirement for the job applicant. Depends on the role whether the company expect quite experience on organization and academic. The most important they put a highlight is being active on organization which they know how social you are.
