I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at EY (New Delhi) in July 2022
Interview
Interview with client went well and I received mail that I got selected and had ctc discussions with Hiring manager. They didn't release the offer letter and made me to wait for 2 months and when my LWD got nearer they simply replied as position not available. Thankfully I had other offer in hand. Ey hiring ppl are not at all genuine and ethical
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
talend and bigdata questions and checked analytical skills
Interview experience was disappointing, especially considering the position was for a Lead role. Most of the questions focused on very specific syntax details, basic Notepad-related tasks, and raw CSS implementation rather than topics relevant to technical leadership, system design, architecture, problem-solving, team mentoring, or project ownership.
What made the experience more confusing was that I asked the interviewer whether they actually use raw CSS in their projects, and they confirmed that they do not. This raised questions about the relevance of the interview assessment to the actual responsibilities of the role.
Overall, the interview did not seem aligned with the expectations or skill set typically associated with a Lead-level position.

Question 1
syntax for use state and use effect, on a note pad.
Neat and straight forward and not too technical. First round went through the profile and set their expectations and second round is more of behaviour one and good round of interview
