      Risk Advisory Interview

      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at EY (San Francisco, CA) in July 2015

      Interview

I applied through EY's Emerging Leaders Program. I believe everyone who attended and applied for Tax or Audit received an offer, but for advisory there was a case study interview required. My interviewer was a manager, although she had just recently joined the firm a few months prior. We began by introducing ourselves. I told her about my siblings and where I grew up (turns out she was looking to move to the same city). Afterwards, she handed me a case study and left the room for about 15 minutes. When she returned, I walked her through my recommendations. I made sure to explain my thought process as I went along. She gave me one critique (or one area that I failed to acknowledge), but afterwards the process was over and I heard back a month and a half later.

One to two weeks later, I had my final interview (two 30 minute behavioral interviews and a 50 minute case study). Heard back that same day.
