Interview
The application process was not complicated as it involved online test (simulation based), telephone interview and formal interview at the company. It took around a month to get back to me with confirmation for a telephone interview after I did the online test.

Interview
The process involved an online test (situational judgement), following this was a video interview and then a face to face interview at the head office in Chalfont. The interview was conducted by a manager and a current placement employee. The interview was very relaxed and more conversational. Following this, I was asked to partake in a skype interview with the line manager for the role, who was based in the USA. This was more focused to the role rather than finding out about myself and explaining my CV.

What do you know about GE Healthcare/Life sciences
Advertised on Ratemyplacement, applied online on 5th mar, , closing date 16th Mar. Had to upload cv, covering letter, and complete application form. Claimed it would take 3-5mins, actually took closer to an hour as important to tailor cv and letter. Received email on 7th mar asking me to complete situational and behavioural questions online within next 5 days. Completed on 10 mar. It took 45 mins. Received holding email on 12th mar saying due to a large volume on applicants my application was under review, and to expect a delay in response. On 14th Mar received an email saying position had now been filled. on 15th Mar I checked ratemyplacement and sure enough it was STILL advertising the marketing placement, along with a load of other jobs, so I duly applied to the Business Operations Management. Received an email saying as I had already applied top one job my application was being withdrawn. As my application was not put through because the position had been filled I am not sure why this disqualified me from applying to other jobs. They are wasting everyone's time by still advertising the job when they are filled. Seems quite unprofessional and almost as if they don't know what's going on, think twice before wasting your time filling in forms for a job that is probably not available. GE, if you are reading this, please remove your job adverts.
