Question 1
What is your greatest strength?
How would you recommend increasing the profits for x product?
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Mills in Oct 2011
Interview
Application was done via career services at my university. First round short list was received and posted by career services, and an interview was scheduled. The interview took place on campus and was conducted by a member of the brand management team at General Mills. The interview was primarily behavioural based with one short case on a specific product - this was the sole reason for the rating of difficult as there was no indication a case would be used during this stage. In the absence of this case, or had there been an indication that a case would be used then an average difficulty would have been assigned. Second round candidates would move on to a full day at General Mills office where they would do multiple interviews and critical thinking tests. [Refer to the US post for a similar position for the type of test used]
