I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Allahabad) in Aug 2025
Interview
Round 1 - Technical, was asked 1 dsa question (Linked List) + 1 LLD question (design a dictionary/hash map, considering linear probing etc) and a little bit about projects
Round 2 - 1 dsa question (reduce string to minimal form considering that if a sequence of consecutive elements are same they get removed, repeat until minimal) and in depth questions about my projects (in the ML field)
Round 3(Final Round) - Puzzles from GfG top 100, more about projects, Why Goldman Sachs, tell me when you've overcome a challenge

3 third round was a HIRING MANAGER round - star stories, behavioural etc
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. House Robber problem
2. Dp on stock & follow ups
Preference of software/quant was asked in the test. In the test there is a behavioural section, if you answer that properly you will get an interview.
There was a panel of 3-4 members in the software team, usually you got your interview in 2 panels (for two rounds of the same difficulty)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask basic arrays, and linked list questions in DSA. Other than that they discussed my projects, there was not really much else in the interview for both the rounds. If you have a good introduction about yourself prepared, are knowledgeable about your projects and know basic DSA, you can get hired.
Great interview process, super nice people. Come prepped with typical IB questions and answers. Get to the super is easy, super day is tuff. So be easy on yourself is my bigggest takeaway XD
