Interview
Hi! So I applied to H&M a few days ago and received an email yesterday inviting me to a group interview in two weeks. I've never worked in retail and I'm quite nervous!
Basically, I'm wondering, what actually happens in the interview? I tried looking online but couldn't find much information as group interviews seem to be a more recent thing at H&M.
I'd also like to know roughly how many people I can expect to be in the interview, and if there's any further interview afterwards (I've read online that a lot of people have had a phone interview, although I haven't had one, not sure if there would be a 1-1 interview too?).
Also, do they tend to hire people going to uni? I put on the application that I was interested in an 8-12 hour contract and only put the weekends down as being free/fully flexible, obviously this didn't prevent me getting an interview but is this a turn off for actually getting hired? I am willing to do a couple hours during the week if I have time (and overtime during holidays etc), but I won't find out my timetable until mid September and as I'm commuting a fair distance to uni, I'd rather keep weekdays free for uni/independent study.
