I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at H&M (Santa Ana, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
The interview process was not intensive what so ever. It was my first group interview, so I kept in mind that I did need to have backup answers just in case I would repeat an answer. I could tell that the managers were annoyed at the fact that some of the applicants would ramble. It's best to be short and direct with your answers.

I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Dundalk) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was lovely, very interactive. Getting to meet new people, seeing the H&M store was really nice. The supervisor was really professional and warm. First we got to know each other, then did a question and answers round with everyone, situation based, customer service based, questions to display your skills etc, talking about H&M values and then we had a group task, to come with a outfit based on the provided situation.
I applied online. I interviewed at H&M (Brighton, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
Group interview, asked us questions like what's our hobbies and why do we want to work at H&M. We then had to work in pairs to choose the importance of certain scenarios that we may come across. We then were given a scenario in a group and had to go around the shop and choose an outfit suitable for that scenario. We ended the interview being asked two random questions about the brand or anything in general.
