I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hays (London, England) in Nov 2017
Interview
4 stage interview process
1)Phone call 2)face to face 3)Group assessment 4)meeting with director
Very thorough process but very helpful in identifying weaknesses on a personal level. Group assessment was tricky but fun.
Would definitely recommend applying if anyone is considering.

Question 1
Q. what would you do if a candidate didn't turn up for an interview?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hays
Interview
Lengthy 3 hour assessment day. Follow up one to one interviews. One to one interview includes an interview waxing lyrical about how great her life is. No questions asked other than walk me through your CV. No, follow up. Crap interview process for someone to make a snap decision based on sweet nothings.

I applied online. I interviewed at Hays (Birmingham, England) in Aug 2019
Interview
Initial phone call lasting 15 minutes, if successful you move to face to face with HR lasting 30 minutes or so, then an all morning assessment day involving presentations and role play. Then a final face to face interview with the director.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hays (Bristol, England) in June 2019
Interview
First stage was a telephone discussion, second stage a 121 interview and 3rd stage a group assessment.
The 3rd stage was where there are role play scenarios, Hays presentation from assessor, tour of office, write a job description and review 3 cvs and role play selling the candidates cv to a "client."
It was great to do the assessment to really get to know the day to day life of a recruiter at Hays. It was also great to see that there is so much careers progression at Hays with everyone working there way up to Business Manager or higher.
