Interview
Phone interview and one-to-one went well. However the assessment centre was very disappointing. The director who assisted in the interview was extremely self-absorbed and made it very clear who he was interested in; this was highly unprofessional and inappropriate. The flagship harped on about ethnic diversity, yet their offices were dominated by white people, so it was everything but diverse. We then got told that we had to email Hays confirming whether we were right for the job, which is backward because it is down to the company, not the candidate. Overall a very aloof and backward experience.

I'm disappointed that you didn't feel that our London City office was as diverse as you were expecting. I'm actually quite surprised because we are a very diverse team but I'm sorry you didn't see that.

Just got through to being contacted by recruiter initially. Confusing, as was told would receive a call by end if day if passed to next stage. Didn't get call but was emailed to complete my candidate profile for the next stage - and then was never contacted again.

There are different stages for the interview, in group/ individual including debates, presentation, critical thinking and problem solving. Before the session, the recruiter will reach out for phone screening as a typical recruitment procedure.
