It was my first experience with an online interview with no interviewer present and I was a little surprised a company in the hospitality industry would choose an option to conduct their first interview (i.e. not personable, no personal touch that you would associate with great service) but I also get where they're coming from in trying to streamline candidates with reduced manpower. The interview was 10 questions long, consisting of the standard run-of-the-mill interview questions in the form of a mixture of multiple-choice questions, short answer questions, and several video recorded questions.
