I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Honey Birdette (Brisbane) in Apr 2015
Interview
i sent in a video application and received a call the next morning asking me to come to a store 'dressed to impress' = heels and red lipstick. In store i had a chat to a couple of the girls and then had a brief chat to the manage about the sex toys. I was then told to chat to the next customer who came in and help them around the store - A bit like being thrown in the deep end!
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Honey Birdette (Sydney) in Dec 2022
Interview
Went for a Christmas casual role. Manager was very sweet and explained what will take place and the amount of hours that will be give to new staff, very relaxed and just felt like a conversation.

You're asked to submit a video of yourself - this purely for the sake of checking whether or not you look like a 'Honey' or not. Once that's established you're invited in store and asked to spend an hour interacting with customers. You'll need some charm (or grit) to persuade them from here, because soft-spoken girls are looked over for girls whose natural talents include pressuring customers to buy whatever it is they're looking at and then some, the harder you push the better, and there are no limits to how pushy you're encouraged to be. Returns rates weren't analysed when I worked for this company, so as long as you got the product out the door, who cares about returns because of unhappy/unsatisfied customers.
