I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Mar 2018
Interview
After I applied online, I was sent an email with a coding challenge. The challenge was as other people have described here. I was given a week to start it and 3 hours to complete it, but I think that they put a lot of emphasis in how long it takes to complete. I completed it in under an hour and my recruiter emailed me letting me know that he wanted to move forward with me. I set up a phone call with my recruiter, and it was basically a quick ~30 minute phone screening with basic questions and he allowed me to ask several questions about the position (no preparation needed for this call). A couple days later, I was asked to come for an on site interview for which they flew me to Boston. The interview process consisted with 2 1-hour long conversations with engineers. They each asked a technical question, but it was more like a conversation than an interview, which I really enjoyed. The hiring process was the fastest that I've ever had experience with. Responses were very timely and each phase of the interview had little delay in communication.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2020
Interview
It was the best interview process for me so far. Bridget reached out to me on Handshake. The process was transparent. I went through coding challenge -> phone screen -> two rounds of on campus interview. I was informed the type of interview coming up and how to prepare. Bridget was patient and quick for reply. She helped me a lot for the paper after I got the offer so I really appreciate her help! Looking forward to a great experience this fall!
So glad you had such a great experience and I'm glad you had the chance to work with Bridget every step of your process. Congrats on the offer to join us - we're excited to have you as part of our co-op program!
Best,
