I was selected during oncampus recruitment in my college... The process consisted of two phases: 1)Written test 2)HR Interview The process started by 9:00 AM.First there was a pre-placement talk in our college auditorium.All students interested in attending and who have secured above 68% attended the process.A HR manager from Infosys explained a presentation about Infosys.Later he showed videos regarding training and job at Infosys.Then we were sent to exam hall for the written test. The test consisted of two sections: 1)REASONING:(30questions 40 mins) 1) ODD ONE OUT FROM GIVEN FIGURES 2) DATA SUFFICIENCY 3) DATA INTERPRETATION(pie diagram) 4) SMALL PUZZLE(4 children, money distributed among them... who has more? less?) 5) ONE Analytical question(mapping...given in the form of paragraph,we have to solve for answers) 6) Syllogisms 2) After reasoning we were given verbal QP. VERBAL:(questions 35mins) 1)Sentence Correction(8Q)(among 4 sentences the correct one shud be detected) 2)Underlined a part of sentence and asked to insert correct phrase in it from d given 4 options(8Q) 3)Fill in the blanks(8Q)(prepositions etc) 4)Theme detection(6Q)(5 line paragraphs) 5)2 RC s(one big,one small)-10Q (one is very easy.. read and answer type. Another is difficult.. read, understand, check para, check options, confirm.. type. Better you go for this type of RC at the last.) When compared to Reasoning QP this was a bit difficult. Most of the students who got disqualified were so because of this QP. So, b careful with verbal paper. The questions are easy but very lengthy.... So, practice verbal very much so that u will not find it difficult to read the big questions. WRITTEN EXAM RESULTS: Results were announced after nearly one hour. HR INTERVIEW: Here also, first we were given a form to fill up. This was about semester marks and it didn't take long. We had to give these forms to a person along with the xerox copies of X,XII,B.Tech mark-lists, a signed resume. After this a person called out my name and i had to wait in front of the HR room. I was not even prepared for the basic question "tell about yourself".. When i was struggling to decide whether to prepare for that question or not.. I was asked to go inside... INTERVIEW: ME: Good afternoon sir..(smile) INTERVIEWER: Good afternoon.. sit down..(smiled.. that gave me a bit confidence.. ah.. at least he can smile..) M: (sat down)(forgot to say thank u.! never mind.. if u r late then leave it..;-)) I: (seeing my resume) What events did u participate in ur school? (in resume i wrote won several awards at school level) M:essay writings, elocution, painting, sports..(of-course everything is true.. don't try and lie.. they will get u somewhere.. painting was my hobby) I: nothing more? M:(what the hell? i have said almost every event name that a student can participate.. thought of saying dancing.. but feared that he may ask to perform...) nothing special sir.. also i was the class leader then.. so it was my duty to educate everybody regarding the events. so, i had my part in every event in our clas.. (Hoff.. diverted the topic.. i didn't know whether it was a convincing answer..) I: aha.. whats your duty?(smile.. thought he got me) M:actually, the events were conducted by pvt people.. we had scholarships........ blah blah.. so i had to encourage... I: what were the problems from the students? M: not interested... etc.... I: what did u do then? M:said something... I: Got any sisters? M:said I:whats the difference between CS & IT? M: (thought a while.. i didn't know) I don't know sir (smile) I: how can u b not knowing? being from CS? M:(smiling) That's y i didn't know sir.. I am from CS i know CS.. I don't know about IT.. But i think both must b almost same... I:(smile) If both r same y 2? there should b 1 right? M: (smiling) ya... that's y i said i don't know sir.. I:questions about tech fest in our college and my role in its organizing.. problems faced.. ways solved... M:answered all confidently... I: any questions? M: nothing sir... but i just want to know what r the qualities u look for in a candidate at this stage.. I: didn't answer.. said indirect answers.. such as u should b knowing... that's y u r here. etc.. (smiled) thank you.... M: It was nice meeting you sir...(smiling, confidently shook hands with him ) I: the pleasure is mine..(smiling) That's it. Later results were announced and i was selected..

Basics aptitude and basic oops programing first round is aptitude round and second round will be technical and Hr round for freshers. It was very good experience and easy to crack
