I applied online. I interviewed at Infosys (Washington, DC) in Feb 2021
Interview
I got an initial phone screening from recruiter, who sent me a pymetrics link to complete. Afterward, they scheduled a technical interview the following week where they asked technical/behavioral questions by Microsoft Teams video call. One of the interviewers was kind and understanding, but the other one was rude and condescending, and overall acted really unprofessional. Made me not want to continue the interview process with the company.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Infosys (Richardson, TX) in May 2026
Interview
There were 3 Rounds in total. First was the Screening round where they asked basic Behavioral questions, discussed salary. Next was an online assessment which involved 2 coding questions and 10 MCQ's (basic CS concepts). Last round was a technical interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Past Projects, Data Structures, Programming skills
Thorough process. Asked about accomplishments and scenario based questions. Questions about how one would handle certain scenarios and how they can reflect to working with the company
Asked about my previous experience in leadership. Nothing to do with technical expertise
Went through a screeing process then moved on to the technical interview. Felt a little unprofessional because they were late and they did not have their camera on. Took almost 2 weeks to get a result back.
