I applied through university. I interviewed at Infosys
Interview
Following the assessment test, got shortlisted for the interview phase. The session itself was very smooth; the interviewer created a supportive and comfortable environment right from the beginning. The conversation centered around my project, where I had the opportunity to detail its technical aspects, architectural choices, and the underlying motivation for building it.
Introduction > Education > Project > Technical Questions > General Questions > Any queries The interview process at Infosys typically consists of several rounds. The first round is typically a resume screening, during which the hiring team reviews your resume and decides whether or not to invite you for an interview. If you are invited for an interview, the next round is typically a phone or video interview with a member of the hiring team. This is an opportunity for the interviewer to learn more about your background and experience, and for you to ask questions about the role and the company. If you are successful in the phone/video interview, you may be invited for an in-person interview at the Infosys office. This interview may be conducted by a panel of interviewers and may include technical questions related to your area of expertise. Depending on the role and the level of the position, there may be additional rounds of interviews, such as a case study or presentation, or an interview with a senior leader at the company.
Multiple rounds including face to face and aptitude depending on the role type and resume and project related questions were asked with focus on technical concepts including data structures and algorithms
The recruitment process started with an online assessment that included aptitude, reasoning, verbal ability, and programming questions. Candidates who cleared the assessment were invited for a technical and HR interview. The interview lasted around 30 minutes and focused on Java fundamentals, projects mentioned in the resume, OOP concepts, certifications, and basic HR questions. The interviewers were friendly and gave sufficient time to answer.
