      .NET Architect Interview

      19 Sept 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Calcutta
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Infosys (Calcutta) in Sept 2023

      Interview

Overall experience was very bad. I have done my college through distance education. This was mentioned in my profile. But the Infosys recruitment software didn't mention it anywhere. Maybe there is a software glitch but even when I was first screened at Infosys office by a person, and told him about my distance education, the guy didn't have any issue. After spending about 7/8 hours and going through all the interviews both technical and managerial, the HR was surprised that I have distance education. He was total aloof. I don't want to take his name. After knowing this the guy just said they need someone with 16 years full time education. So all this time what were they doing and why wasting my time? Even the guy asked me to compromise to a lower salary and experience. Thank you Infosys but experience cannot be compromised and if you are looking for cheap labour then I must say --- YOU ALREADY HAVE CONSEQUENCES OF CHEAP LABOUR AND YOUR RECRUITMENT SOFTWARE DOESN'T WORK.
