I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Intuit (Bengaluru) in July 2023
Interview
The interview process started with an HR screening round; they mostly gauge a candidate's experience and alignment with the role. It is not really an elimination. Round 2 was with Senior Product Manager, was mostly around my experience and there was a sall case study post that. They stress heavily on the product craft and thinking; how do you approach a problem and structure your thoughts. Round 3 was again with a Senior PM; this was mostly around my previous experience, evaluation and focus is same as the previous round. Had a case study round followed by 3 discussions - 1st was with 3PMs, 2nd one with Product Designer and 3rd one was with the HM. Tip for case study: think of yourself as a PM at Intuit. Research their product and it's end users (if the case study is based on it). This is the most important part of the evaluation. They expect you to do good research about the problem and come up with a solution. They also look for creativity in how you break down a problem and propose a solution. Rest of the rounds are mostly around the case and digging deeper into your approach. There are also behavioural question in addition.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why did you identify this specific customer segment? Why did you take this approach? etc.
Ghosted, after putting in so much time and effort. I don't think that there is any excuse for ghosting candidates, after multiple follow ups. Its understandable that sometimes situations might have changed, say the role is being put on hold. But the least one can do is to acknowledge that they are working on providing an update.
There is a high level of accountability problem across the board for recruiters these days. They have one job (literally there is someone else for scheduling).
I won't be naming names, but what goes around comes around. After all Its a small recruiters' market.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
A recruiter on Linkedin reached out about a specific role. I had a 30 minute screening interview with questions around experience and career goals. I was asked to do an urgent interview with the hiring manager the same day. I did not hear back after, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Pretty rude after accommodating their schedule.
