      26 Aug 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (New York, NY) in July 2024

      Interview

Application and Initial Screening Online Application: You apply for a position through Intuit's careers page or a recruiter may reach out to you directly. Recruiter Screening: If your application is shortlisted, a recruiter will contact you for an initial phone screen to discuss your background, experience, and interest in the role. 2. Online Assessment (Optional) Coding Challenge: Depending on the role, you might be asked to complete an online coding challenge through platforms like HackerRank or Codility. This typically involves algorithmic problems that test your problem-solving and coding skills. 3. Technical Phone Interview Technical Questions: A technical phone interview with an engineer or technical lead may follow. This interview usually involves solving coding problems on a shared online editor. The focus is on your coding ability, problem-solving approach, and understanding of data structures and algorithms. Behavioral Questions: You might also be asked behavioral questions to assess your soft skills, such as teamwork, communication, and how you handle challenging situations. 4. Onsite Interview (or Virtual Onsite) Technical Interviews: If you pass the phone interview, you'll be invited for an onsite interview, which might be conducted virtually. This typically consists of multiple rounds, including: Coding Interviews: Expect more in-depth coding challenges that may involve algorithms, data structures, system design, and real-world problem-solving scenarios. System Design Interview: For senior roles, a system design interview is common. You’ll be asked to design a scalable system, discuss trade-offs, and explain your design decisions. Behavioral Interviews: Intuit places a strong emphasis on cultural fit. You'll likely face several behavioral interviews where you're asked about past experiences, how you've handled specific situations, and how you align with Intuit’s values, such as customer obsession and integrity. Ghost jobs and interviewing, wasting people's time. don't bother interviewing with this scammer company and leadership. only positive was recruiting team was nice, at least pretended to be nice. Random panel who interviews you could be hit or miss. I got an arrogant, rude ones who not interested at all. felt like they wanted fail me even though I solved all problems and answered questions, kept interrupting me and try to derail you from right way on purpose. so negative. don't waste your time for prepping. I think all engineers here are paranoid and want to intentionally fail candidates to keep their jobs after intuit laying off thousands every year. what a joke company. should be illegal.
