I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan in July 2008
Interview
I met with two people. Former colleagues of mine knew the hiring manager, so, they were able to give me a good recommendation. Nothing too technical was asked. It was just an open discussion on the projects I worked on and how my skillsets would translate to the position they were offering. It lasted about 1 1/2 hours and I received the offer two days later.

the interview conducted was very conducive. we have to use telephone interview as I was located in a different country than the hiring manager. the first interview was quick 30mins and was mostly the hiring manager describing the job and finding out more about my experiences. the second interview was more precise. it includes a list of technical questions relating to project management and how i am able to relate my past experiences to project management.
