Interview
Applied online, next day offered interview in store. Booked in for a later that week. Interview only scheduled for 15mins but turned up. Manager had wrong paperwork dint know who I was. Hand to explain what position I had applied for. Was told max hours can offer on full time contract is 6hrs. Explained the store had needed improvements so all team leaders would be new, I wouldn’t be able to work alone for at least 6 weeks and then need sign off from two outside store managers to become a team leader. Finally she explained that a team leader doesn’t actually work the shop floor and expect to shout at staff and she won’t explain twice. Never asked about my experience and was told I could start asap just needed to sign contract. Felt very much they just needed staff and as long as you had the right to work anyone would do.
it went good, more of experience based, IT knowledge, team building, customer experience. questions include, tell me about yourself, why doy you think youre best fit. Overall it was good
very easy going and knowledgable. internal hire only. must have good communication and know how to run shift. must do boh moh and foh. must know how to manage things
