I applied online. I interviewed at KPMG (Amsterdam) in Feb 2026
Interview
I interviewed for the Alteryx Senior Consultant role in Amstelveen. The process included multiple rounds and an LTP assessment, and the actual interviews were professional and constructive. I received feedback that my profile was impressive and that the hiring manager liked me.
Unfortunately, after the final interview the communication became unclear. I was given a timeline for when I would hear back, but I did not receive an update and had to follow up. When the recruiter eventually scheduled a call, I was informed I was not selected due to a Dutch language requirement.
What was frustrating is that Dutch language was never mentioned as a requirement during any interview round, and it was not listed in the job description. The recruiter explained that the business changed the role requirements late in the process, which also contributed to the delay in communication.
Overall, the interview experience itself was positive, but the lack of transparency and delayed updates made it a disappointing candidate experience. I would strongly encourage clearer communication upfront, especially if language requirements are critical or may change.
The first stage was a phone interview with the recruiter in a friendly manner with the usual questions about salary and work experience, which were good and positive, and they said they would respond within the next two weeks.
Straightforward process. There was an initial interview with HR, then a Director and then finally the Partner. The partner interview was the easiest. That last part is just a culture fit check
The job interview process went through 3 rounds across different levels down-up, excluding the talent manager. It was brutal but totally worth it. The timing sequence is fairly fast ~ every 2 weeks.
