I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at KPMG in Mar 2021
Interview
The whole process took about 6 months until I received my offer. The first stage is an online assessment that involves GCSE maths and SJT, fairly simple if you practice enough. The second stage is a video interview as well as a written response to an email. This is where you will answer questions like why KPMG and auditing and test your ability to interact with co-workers and clients. The third stage is a supervised numerical test similar to the one in stage one, so if you get to this stage, I would not worry as you have seen this before and have passed it. The last stage is the assessment centre, where you will be briefed on what to expect on the day and the task that you will be working on. You will then be split into a group where you will discuss the said task and answer questions as a group. The next stage is a self-reflection exercise where you will be 1-on-1 with an assessor and answer various questions about that task. And then finally it is a 40min interview with a partner from your chosen stream. Here you will be asked your expected questions like why KPMG and auditing etc, there are also questions that focus on technology, so make sure you do some reading on that prior to your interview. The interview also focuses on their core values so scenarios like cutting corners, taking initiative, managing a team etc
I went to the assessment centre which was the last stage in the graduate audit scheme. We first had an assessed group exercise (involving 4 people including yourself). We were given a topic and had to recommend which path KPMG should go down and then a partner interview which lasts around 30/40 mins
Submit an initial application then complete a monitored (video and audio) online assessment (Situational Judgement Test, logical, numerical) and strengths based video recorded interview. Final stage is an assessment centre in person.
