I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, CA) in June 2012
Interview
Initial phone interview with recruiter, written pre-screening questions, two in-person interviews and offer process. The questions were thoughtful and the people I met with were all helpful in selling the KP message to me, as well as the type of work I would be doing. The people really took the time to make sure I had a full picture of the job, the culture and expectations. I also liked the excitement people showed for the company.

Question 1
Please describe one project where it didn't go as planned and what did you do?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Pasadena, CA) in Feb 2010
Interview
I was able to get into the organization via an internal contact. It is very difficult to get a position at Kaiser without a referral. I had two interviews. The first one was with the director who asked me some experience related questions, but most of them were geared to determine if I'm a good cultural fit. Focus on collaboration and teamwork will help.
