I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Feb 2015
Interview
talked about my research and when i would defend my thesis. Interviewer was very friendly and handled questions well. Was given some open ended questions and answered them via email. Then had a phone screen where they tried to get a feel for me, again no technical questions asked just questions regarding the size of datasets I have worked with and what I did with them.

Question 1
Generic questions without a technical structure, so I answered in a general, non technical way. This was a mistake.
If I were to do it again I would demonstrate technical specifics and reference how it ties into my research. Making bloody sure to talk about every technology and technique I have used while doing my PhD
round1 resume shortlisting applies on linkedin as a easy apply option
round 2 oa (online assesment) 2 questions on hacker rank
round 3 - technical (dsa) i got basic questions from stack and linked list
round 4 - hr culture fit
My interview process consisted of a single phone screen. During this call, the interviewer asked about my background, skills, and motivation for the role. After which the interviewer elaborated the interview process.
Starts with an OA. It had 3 medium to hard questions. Next technical rounds with an interviewer. They ask medium to hard level questions of leetcode. If cleared, HR call is scheduled and they ask behavioural questions. Sometimes ask about projects.
