Got a call from weareams consultancy, processed my profile for principal software engineer role, 2nd round interview they have scheduled for senior software Engineer role(they do not have proper knowledge about the roles).
Round 1 - Technical interview on karat platform. Question#1 Given a system design problem, need to identify the flows in the current system, identify the issues and improve the system design and 2 more questions related to "system design".
Round 2# behavioural round, set of predefined questions, 1. Why do you want to work with Lloyds bank? 2. Reason for switching jobs? 3. If any gaps in career, then reasons 4. Compensation expectation and reason. 5. Day to day activities? 6. Challenges you have resolved?

Applied for a few roles, first stage for most was a Karat, which was quite hard and difficult to prepare for given they were a bit vague about what they were assessing. Generally positive about the Karat, also had an interview with a Hiring Manager, and although this was quite an easy interview it felt extremely corporate.

Interview
Interview was scheduled at 11 AM and kept waiting till 4PM for first round of interview.
Interviewer lacked knowledge and couldn't comprehend the answers and couldn't validate detailed explanation, instead looking for single sentence answer that's displayed in her interview questions page. Bulk rejection seems to be the only purpose the interviewer is serving.

Interview
Short process with direct access to the employer. Screening call was quite short but a good way to meet the team. No technical element, just technical questions instead and also soft skill questions from the product owner.
