I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Montreal, QC) in Oct 2012
Interview
The process wasn't as hard as some people assume. You just need to be confident and not pissing your pants like so many people I saw. It was pleasant to see that they actually offer workshops on how to get through the interviews.
My process was 2 first round interview followed by 3 second round interviews a week later. There are usually 4 second round interviews but there was a staffing shortage so we only had 3. First round with Engagement Managers. First 2 of the second round with Associate Principals. All these were the same format. About 30 minutes behavioural and 30 minutes a set case that my interviewer was reading. My last interview however was with a Principal and he just told me about a situation he was in where he had to talk to a board about a sensitive situation and we went through how I would handle it.

Question 1
They are pretty protective of their questions. I respect that. Just be confident.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Madrid)
Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Bangkok) in July 2022
Interview
I was invited for the famous McKinsey assessment (virtual game about the environment and protection game). I got an interview with the HR too. I was asked a behavioral interview question which I find quite hard to answer because the Hr thought about it on the spot based on the conversation I had. As a fresh grad, I also don’t have much corporate experience to elaborate on it so I struggle.

Can’t remember exactly . It’s a behavioral question about my experience.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (Edmonton, AB) in Sept 2021
Interview
the 1st round was an online assessment, its pretty decent, not very tough to perform well at. There is a time crunch but if you see a couple tutorials you should be able to get through with ample of time spare.
