The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (New York, NY) in Mar 2010
Interview
Interviewing for the redmachine could be a beast of an interview. It started with a recruiter who called and profiled my background. A few days later she set up a 1:1 interview with the hiring manager. That meeting took about an hour. I then met a few additional managers that work in conjunction with this team. Then, I met about 3 other people who would be my peers.
I had to come back to do a presentation about the value proposition of the product. After that I finally met the regional VP who made a decision that day. I got a call that evening that my offer would be in the mail. I took the job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (Singapore) in June 2018
Interview
The interview happened in 2018, I have decided to share my experience so everyone is aware of such practise from Oracle SG.
I was request by the VP to provide a list of customers that I’m working with in the current company which is a direct competitor of Oracle during the one on one interview. I was reluctant to share at that moment but then he request the HR to follow up with me via email.
With close to no choice, I had submitted a few
customer names that published in the website just to fulfil their requirements. And after the submission, they told me they have a new hiring manager joining and she has someone preferred in mind.
It left such an awful experience with Oracle.
