    Cons

    Really toxic leadership, Hyper focused territory, Not doing things in best interest of customer Limited Partner ecosystem unrealistic expectation of quota KPI's 6 meetings a week (face to face) declining market share

    Pros

    Bupa insurance, nice offices, good company name.

    Cons

    Newly-created enablement department is out-of-touch, fixated on auditing and 'box-checking'. Function needs to be handled by product management divisions instead. Enablement should be disbanded. Too many unnecessary layers of leadership. Leaders are no longer viewed as inspirational or as 'true leaders'. Get rid of Managers who are not performing any duties or have no staff under them.

    Advice to Management

    Do away with 'International' and return the EMEA and JAPAC regions to operating independently of each other. Return the focus to our Customers.

    Pros

    Few: - Salary ok. Market but not competitive - Healthcare is great. 90% back on extras, - Superannuation is in addition to salary. - Good technology.

    Cons

    Negatives: - Extremely poor on-boarding. In fact, non-existent, even at exec level; - Poor management; - Unclear objectives; - Opaque compensation plans.

    Advice to Management

    If you hire good people, then they'll expect good treatment. When you treat people poorly and excuse this because of process, then you will never achieve excellence. Move on from the mediocre.

    Great healthcare. Gym. Good if your manager has your back.

    Cons

    favouritism is encouraged internally. boys club. you will be shunted if you don't play their games. rampant sexism is openly encouraged and discussed in sales meetings. don't do it.

    Pros

    Pro's are good work life balance, great benefits such as health insurance, parking, training, variety in jobs and activities, allow you to participate in hackathons, charity support is great with lots of support, huge product portfolio if you want to learn about lots of different things. Also internally in most cases more professional and supportive of the individual, so while not perfect I have seem much less... professional behaviour elsewhere. People are generally really good, friendly, open. In terms of learning strategic selling, Oracle is up there with the best, and it will equip you with very good skills.

    The real issue is the customer perception and move away from Oracle products (not everywhere of course some products are doing ok). Most customers seem to want to abandon the Oracle products and especially the lock in to old style and very expensive perpetual contracts. Past treatment of customers means you are generally not that welcome when visiting to talk about new products, if they are a long time customer. ... This is especially disheartening when you want to do your best, but customers literally hate your company. Internal values are good, but external is the problem. Lately some new managers are quite savage.

    Advice to Management

    Oracle needs to move its existing customers to newer friendlier contracts, just like telco's who now offer no lock in plans. These old contracts amount to nothing more than keeping customers hostage with high likelihoods of them failing usage audits often by mistake.
