Got a call from the recruiter, and had a quick convo. She then set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, the hiring manager set up an interview with a peer on the team, then with about 3 other people on separate teams.

The recruiter conducted an initial, brief interview to determine qualifications and interest of the interviewee. After determining base qualification for the role, the recruiter passed on to the hiring manager. The next interview was over the phone with the hiring manager and a member of the hiring team.
