The company is very transparent about processes; and guides you along during the process to ensure that you understand how you will be evaluated. I would suggest reading a book on CBBI, and watching a few videos. You should also make a matrix of interesting stories and use cases from your career that you and pull from. Everyone who works at the company seems thrilled to be there. If you are a true believer in open source, and also have proclivities towards the business end, then this is the place for you.

The first interview with HR went very well. It was professional, friendly, and well structured. The second round was technical and required a prepared presentation, which I appreciated as a fair way to assess skills. However, the final behavioral interview with two managers was disappointing. It lasted 45 minutes longer than scheduled, and both interviewers appeared disengaged and dismissive throughout. I was told to expect feedback within two weeks but received none. After following up a month later, I got an instant rejection through an automated and impersonal email. I spent over five hours preparing and interviewing, and a simple update or short feedback call would have shown basic respect for candidates. Please treat applicants as people, not numbers. Poor communication and lack of empathy leave a lasting negative impression. After this experience, I would never apply for Red Hat again and would not recommend it to any of my peers.
