I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Reynolds American (Winston-Salem, NC)
Interview
I went through an initial phone screening with HR, a 45 minute phone interview with the hiring mgr and then an in-person panel interview.
The panel interview consisted of 4 main parts - a case study and 3 panels who interviewed me. 1. The case study was a hypothetical situation very specific to the type of work this position would be handing. I was given 1 hour to review the study and answer a series of questions related to it. All of this was presented in Microsoft Word. I was asked to save the study and I was then given a printed copy of it (including my answers) so I could later present it to one of the panels. The "presentation" was very casual and more of a discussion while I, and the two-person panel, was seated at a table.
Each panel consisted of two people. Two of the panels seemed to simply discuss my experience and the job while the third panel went very much "by the book" and asked me a lot of questions from a paper they had in front of them.
There were additional candidates who interviewed for the position at the same time. However, each of us met with the panels individually.
