Went for the recruitment talk at school in January 2019. Applied for the CV Workshop and the Success Graduate Program right after.
During the talk, was informed that there would be multiple rounds of interviews before the final panel presentation, but my process was different.
After several weeks, was called in for the final Ohana Recruitment Day for the Solutions Engineer Graduate Program instead. My recruiter was supposed to give me feedback regarding my CV, but she was somewhat unresponsive. However, nearer to the date, she answered all my questions regarding the final recruitment day.
There are 2 rounds of assessment:
1. Passion Pitch + VTO (Volunteer Time Off)
2. Business Solutions Presentation
The topic for passion pitch was only given on the day itself, but nothing much to prepare anyway.
On the other hand, we had one week to prepare for the business solutions presentation. My recruiter gave us the slide deck (optional to use), business case study, and online resources to understand Salesforce product better. Generally, the resources are more than enough to help you prepare for the presentation.
Only 4 people were selected for the 2nd round. And after the business presentation, interviewers asked general questions.
Interviewers were very friendly and attentive - my first encounter with interviewers who are super genuine in finding out more about you and your skills. Despite the initial hiccups with the recruiter, process was smooth afterwards. The interview wasn't easy, especially if you are new to the pre-sale consulting area, but they are looking for someone who fits their culture, so knowledge is not the priority. Best interview so far.
