      Presales Engineer Interview

      23 June 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Paris
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Paris) in June 2025

      Interview

After the usual call with HR and hiring manager, I've been invited to a panel. They set the expectations from the beginning: they expect candidates to spend a fair mount of time preparing for the interview (100+ hours), During the preparation, they give you access to an environment, and you are paired with a "buddy", with whom you'll have regular follow-up calls, to prepare for the interview. It's an heavy process, especially if you are still employed at this time. What left me frustrated at the end of the process, is that after being rejected, they did not took the time to give me an honest feedback about what went well and what went wrong. Considering the hours spent on the preparation, I was at least expecting feedback to improve myself. To end on a positive note, it's still an interesting process, as you get to learn from their methodology.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

how long have you spent on the panel preparation? (they really want to ensure you have been involved at 200% and haven't slept at night to prepare for the itw).
