I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
I initially submitted several applications over several months on the Salesforce website and did not receive a response. I re-applied through their website where I also added that I had a referral from a friend, who worked at Salesforce. Within a week, I received a call from their Talent Department requesting a phone interview with one of their Talent Partners. I met with the Talent Partner for the interview. I answered one of the questions by mentioning my experience with the Salesforce CRM. At a company I had previously worked for, I led the implementation of Salesforce CRM for the sales, support, professional services, and engineering teams. She told me that a lot of people think that talking about their experience with Salesforce CRM is relevant, but that's not necessarily the case. Near the end of the interview, she told me that she would discuss with internal teams and get back to me about moving forward. I received an email saying they were no longer hiring for the position. I checked the Salesforce website and the job posting was still there for many days to weeks later.

Interview
The recruiter contacted me in very professional manner. I was able to see that my interviewers were very dedicated to the company values and what they do for the company. I was able to see that these are the professional group of people I would like to work with.
