I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in May 2017
Interview
Show up 1.5 hours prior to interview scheduled session. Drop off logbooks and all files and documents requested and filled out prior to arriving.
Next is a group review and presentation by a line pilot. This was done in a breifing style room with a corporate size table and a video and brief of company overview, aircraft orders , deliveries etc.
After that everyone gets a brief tour of the interview part of the offices and then placed in a waiting room.
There are three phases everyone is aware of, LOE, panel interview and a logbook review.
At any time any question can be asked off you.
A interviewing member of the staff will enter and call one person to that particular event.
First the LOE, scenario was a flight attendant calls up from the back and tells you that she is clearing her eats and passengers are complaining of the same.
Eventually the indications in the flight indicate that depressurization occurs. Now time divert, the flight takes place between Jackson and Houston and the event is over Louisiana.
Next is the logbook review, during he review the interviewer asks questions about checkrides, failures and some history.
Finally the panel is two interviewers.
Here they start with the resume and go down it and ask tmaat questions and why Southwest.
