I had applied 5 months back for the Summer Internship. I had applied for the Aircraft Performance and engineering Internship and I had got selected for a phone interview. Once that was done, I got selected for the panel interview. There were engineering department managers form all sections and all the HR manager who conducted the phone interview with me. All of them were really friendly and made me very comfortable. I was asked more about "Why Southwest?" even though I had my essay turned in and also about my past internships during my undergraduate studies and also about my project. And after 3 days I got a call from the HR manager saying that i was hired. It was a wonderful experience for me.
