The process was friendly and focused heavily on situational questions. I had one short phone screening followed by a 45-minute in-person meeting with the store manager. It felt very collaborative and focused on my ability to handle busy periods.

Question 1
"How do you bring positivity to the team during a very busy, stressful shift?"
It was a pretty straightforward interview process involving questions about dealing with controversy, career plans, customer service experience, etc. They want to know how well you work under pressure and other aspects of dealing in a sometimes quite face-paced environment in the customer service industry.

Question 1
Tell us about a time you dealt with a problem at work with a customer. How did you handle it?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Starbucks (Saint Louis, MO) in Oct 2021
Interview
Simple, direct, easy questions meant to ask about work ethic and culture fit more than anything. Nearly anyone *can* be trained to make coffee and the interview reflects this. Usually, a one-step interview. Very relaxed, possibly because the turnover is very high. Having open availability is a huge benefit to prospects of getting hired.
