I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Starbucks in Nov 2017
Interview
For corporate, rarely will you get an interview unless it is college-educated entry-level and you have a pulse, you know someone who can refer you, beat the 6-second skim with a sweet resume if you have experience, are extremely well-known and good in your field if you are senior, or a combination thereof. They can afford to be picky because there are hundreds of qualified candidates for each requisition.
I was a combination. The process can take months. I applied and a month later was contacted to coordinate for a phone screen. The initial phone screen is so the senior recruiter can get a sense of your skills. Very professional. It helps to not be a robot and show some personality as long as it is in line with the company culture. A few weeks later they scheduled in-person interviews with partners from the whole department. They want to see if you can do the job and also if you fit the company culture.
I'm assuming I was competitive but never found out how close. The process took so long and I couldn't wait on a few more opportunities I was interviewing for at the same time so I accepted a better position elsewhere with a process that only took a month. Its been two months and they have yet to fill the position with anyone else that might have been interviewing.
My only criticism is the long hiring process. Other than that, the company seems great if you were to be employed there.
3 stages. Recruiter, hiring manager and director.
Not too challenging as they are new to Product, but the people were lovely.
Each one lasted around an hour.
Recruiter would call after to give any feedback available which I thought was great.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks!
Fairly long process. Included a few phone interviews followed by video call with the team and a project you present during the final interview with the person you report to and the team you’d be working with.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Starbucks (Frankfurt am Main)
Interview
Too long but worth it in the end because they let you know immediately if you got the job. They do ask a lot of technical questions and want to know about your motivitation to work for this company.
