I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2017
Interview
I applied for an SDET role. First round was telephonic and second round was in-person scheduled for 3 hrs at Starbucks office in Seattle WA. It was pure technical round and three rounds are taken by SDET on team, Test Lead and Manager.

1. Is given string is Palindrom?
2. Delete an element from a singly linked list, given that node only and you dont have head pointer of the LL.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA) in July 2016
Interview
The recruiting company interviewed me for a contract role by screening me for technical ability (and I passed). The meeting where I went to Starbuck's was more of a confirmation. I was given a job offer but as I was doing paperwork, I saw that a drug screen was mandatory for this position. Looking online, I see that Starbuck's baristas are hardly ever drug screened. For all their lip service of inclusiveness and collaboration, I find this to be hypocritical. The company supposedly values employees as "partners" but are still hiring temporary contract workers with different rules? During the interview, it was apparent that the company lacks direction and substance. I'll not apply here again.
