The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Starbucks (Washington, DC) in July 2008
Interview
I received a phone call a week after dropping the application off. The store manager asked me to come in that day. I went in the afternoon and on my way home she called and offered me a job. I started immediatly. Advise: Smile a lot, act big on customer service, don't say you don't like coffee if you really don't it's not a big deal. Be outgoing and professional.

Question 1
Past customer service experiences/hypothetical questions
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
After applying online they invited me for an online interview that was a group interview then the next stage would have been a one to one digital interview over zoom.

Question 1
What's a difficult customer interaction you've had?
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
